The Friends of the Library are sad to report the passing of Jim Ware, husband of Library director Paula Ware and “Chief F.O.O.L”.   To remember Jim and his contribution to the Library and the Oskaloosa School children, the FOOLs purchased a brass wall hanging of egrets.  Jim was an avid bird watcher.   Janette Hierstein is making a small bunny hutch to hold small, cuddly ‘beany baby’ bunnies for the children’s room.  Jim often took rabbits to school so children could hold them and learn about them.

Taking over for Karen is Tracee Davis.  Tracee has experience with children, being a school teacher who took time off taking care of her sons.
